About Kenny

Kenny York exemplifies fitness. With the devotion of most of his life as a PRO/Elite cyclist, Kenny has become one of the sport's most well-known athletes in Texas. Armed with a passion for endurance sports and positive attitude, he has become one of the top professional athletes in the state and well prepared to become the next top trainer as well. Kenny's multicultural background from being born in Brig, Switzerland to speaking English, German and Swiss German helps him to show cultural diversity within his PRO/1 Category elite cycling training as well as his personal training. Kenny is the Texas State Elite Champion in Cycling 18 times over as well as the current Texas Hour Record Holder at the Alkek Velodrome. In 2000, he raced in the USA Olympic Team Cycling Trials. He has raced in over 200 national and international events and has 2 top 10 finishes at the US National Time Trials. :

Kenny has made multiple accomplishments within cycling but also currently competes in a range of multisport events. From overall champion in numerous Sprint and Olympic distance triathlons, Kenny has also made an impact on the 70.3 and Full Ironman circuit. Placing first in his Age Group in Galveston 70.3, 5th in Buffalo Springs 70.3, competing in the 2016 Ironman World Championship 70.3 in Australia and 2017 Ironman World Championship 70.3 in Chattanooga. He will also be racing in the upcoming 2018 Ironman 70.3 World Championship in South Africa by placing 2nd in the Austin 70.3 and also securing his spot in the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii by placing 3rd in Ironman Cozumel.

Kenny has gained AFFA Personal Trainer Certification, Nutrition Certified, TRX Certified, and CPR-AED certifications as well. He has obtained his BA in Applied Technology and Business Management and is currently pursuing a USAT Level 1 Certification. With a passion for pushing himself to the limits, his knowledge of how to treat a body properly for professional training at an elite level will only push his clients to gain the maximum out of every workout. "Train hard, rest harder" is the philosophy Kenny not just uses in his workout but it is what he lives by and will instill that philosophy into each and every client.
